Drone Property Photography & Aerial Video

Aerial photos and video that show what no ground-level camera can — the whole plot, the boundaries, the outbuildings, the setting, and the condition of the roof — flown in accordance with CAA rules, with flyability confirmed before you book.

What it shows

The view that sells land, plots and setting

Some properties simply cannot be described from the ground. A smallholding with paddocks, a house with a long garden backing onto fields, a development site whose value is its footprint — for all of these, the aerial photograph is the honest one. A single frame from above shows the full plot, where the boundaries run, how the outbuildings relate to the house and what actually surrounds the property, which is often the first question rural buyers ask.

Aerial imagery also answers a colder, more practical question: what state is the roof in? A drone captures close, detailed stills of tiles, ridge lines, flashing, chimney stacks and gutters without scaffolding, ladders or anyone leaving the ground. That makes it a natural companion to a building survey — the surveyor gets photographic evidence of areas they could otherwise only view through binoculars — and a quick way for landlords to check storm damage before committing to access equipment.

Flown legally, every time: all flights are conducted in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority rules. UK airspace carries restrictions — around airports and certain urban and protected areas — so we check your postcode's airspace at booking and confirm the location is flyable before a date is fixed.

Where drone work earns its fee

  • Land, plots and boundary perspectives for rural listings
  • Development sites — footprint, access and surroundings in one frame
  • Larger homes where the setting is the selling point
  • Roof condition imagery without scaffolding costs
  • Aerial video orbits that lift a listing above the competition

How it works

Booked, checked, flown, delivered

1

Airspace check

Send the postcode and what you want captured. We check the airspace, confirm the site is flyable and reply with a fixed quote — if a location can't be flown, you find out before you've committed to anything.

2

Weather-watched flight

We agree a date with a backup, because wind and rain ground drones. On the day we fly the stills and video plan we agreed — plot overviews, boundary lines, roof detail, orbit footage — safely and within the rules.

3

Edited delivery

Stills are edited for colour and clarity; video is cut to portal-friendly lengths. Aerial frames sit naturally alongside ground photography and a walkthrough video from the same visit.

One visit, whole listing: drone work combines readily with photography, video and an EPC in a single appointment. Tell us what the listing needs via the contact page and we'll quote it as one job.

Common questions

Drone photography questions, answered

How much does drone property photography cost?

It depends on the location, the size of the site and whether you need stills, video or both. Send the postcode and what you want captured by WhatsApp or the quote form and we'll confirm the location is flyable and reply with a fixed quote.

Can you fly a drone anywhere?

No — UK airspace has restrictions, particularly near airports, some urban areas and certain protected sites. We check the airspace for your postcode when you book and confirm before anything is scheduled, so you never pay for a visit that can't fly.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

Drones don't fly safely in strong wind or rain, so we watch the forecast and agree a backup date when we book. If conditions turn on the day, we reschedule at no charge rather than deliver flat, grey footage.

Can a drone really inspect a roof?

It captures detailed imagery of slipped tiles, flashing, chimneys, valleys and gutters without scaffolding or ladders — often the same day you ask. It is a visual record rather than a structural opinion; paired with a building survey it gives the surveyor evidence they can't get from the ground.

Do you shoot aerial video as well as stills?

Yes — smooth orbits and reveal shots that show the property in its setting, edited to portal-friendly lengths. Aerial clips also cut neatly into a ground-level walkthrough video for a single combined tour.

Need a certificate or calculation sorted?

Tell us the property type and postcode — we'll come back with a fixed quote and the earliest available date.
