Who we are

Get Compliance LTD ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our services. We are registered in England & Wales, company number 10933749. You can contact us about data protection at info@getcompliance.co.uk.

What we collect and why

We collect personal data only when you give it to us to arrange or deliver a service:

• Enquiries (quote form, email, phone, WhatsApp): your name, contact details, the property address or postcode and details of the service you need. We use this to respond to you, prepare quotes and arrange appointments. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
• Delivering services: property details, access arrangements and the information needed to produce certificates, reports and calculations. Legal basis: performance of a contract, and legal obligation where certificates must be lodged on statutory registers (for example the national EPC register).
• Records and invoicing: we keep copies of certificates, reports and invoices for as long as the law and professional requirements demand — for example, gas safety records must be kept for at least two years, and accounting records for six.

What we don't do

• We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on this website. The site sets no cookies at all.
• We don't sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
• We don't send marketing emails unless you have asked for them, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share data with

Only where necessary to deliver the service: accredited assessors and engineers carrying out your work, statutory registers where certificates must be lodged, and service providers who process data on our instructions (for example our email and form-handling providers). If you contact us via WhatsApp, your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details that don't become a job are deleted within 12 months. Job records, certificates and invoices are kept for the statutory and professional periods that apply to each document type, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our processing, and ask for your data in a portable format. Email info@getcompliance.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Security

We keep personal data on access-controlled systems, share it only with the people delivering your work, and use encrypted connections (HTTPS) throughout this website.
